Child Care Fees:
There is no registration fee to register your child with Learning Happens Home Child Care Agency. Each child must be enrolled for a minimum of two full days or three half days per week. The Agency’s care business hours are from 7am to 6 pm. Any care needed before or after those hours will be subject to additional charges.
Peel Region Fee Reduction Grant:
To make child care more affordable for families, the Region of Peel is pleased to provide funding to licensed agencies to reduce daily child care fees by $6.00 per day for full fee paying families under the age of six. Our rates has been revised to reflect the fee reduction.
Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC):
Learning Happens is currently participating in the CWELCC program. Our fees have been reduced by 52.75% for children under six effective January 1st, 2023. Our rates has been revised to reflect the fee reduction.

Deposit Policy
Your fee contract with Learning Happens Home Child Care Agency states that you are responsible to pay the invoiced amount for the full month, in advance by the 1st day of the same month. This fee includes days when your child is sick, absent or on vacation. Fee is payable for all the statutory holidays.
Withdrawal Policy:
When you know your child will no longer need home childcare with LHCCA, we ask you to give the provider and the agency at least two weeks written notice. We will allow first day of care as a grace period, after that it will be two weeks notice.
Vacation Fee Policy:
Your fee agreement will include payment for up to four weeks in a row of vacation if you want to hold a space in a particular provider’s home. If your child will be out of the program for longer than four weeks in a row, you may want to consider terminating the care and starting again when you require care. In this case, space in a particular provider’s home can’t be guaranteed.
Failure to Pay Fees:
In the event that you are one month behind on your payment, agency will have the discretion to end your childcare agreement by giving a one week notice of withdrawal for the child. Agency will also take the necessary measures to recover the unpaid fee plus all collection cost, from you.
